The Vermont Center for Photography invites you to participate in
The Landscape Show
A juried exhibition April 2 to May 2, 2010

What to Submit
From traditional to digital, all photographic techniques and approaches to landscapes are welcome. Photographers can submit up to five images. Submit works by CD ROM only. Name files with your name, title, followed by a number 01-05, even if you submit fewer than five works, i.e. “your name_Title_01.” Images should be prepared as jpeg files no bigger than 5 x 7”(either dimension) at 300 ppi. Include a separate slide description list with your name, title, date, dimensions, medium, file number (01-05). Also include an up to date resume or biographical information that includes your email address. No email submissions will be accepted. You must include a self-addressed stamped envelope if you want your CD returned. We are not responsible for unlabeled materials or materials sent without return postage. Every precaution is taken to assure the return of your materials, but VCP is not responsible for loss or damage of entry materials.

How to Enter
Send your submission and a check for $30 made payable to VCP ($25 with photocopied student ID) to:

Deadline
Entries (materials and CD ROM) must be received at VCP by March 6, 2010. Selected exhibitors will be notified through email by March 19th. Selected photographs (framed or under glass) must be delivered to the gallery on Friday March 26, Saturday, March 27 or Sunday, March 28, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Shipping information will be provided by email at time of acceptance. The exhibition opening is Friday, April 2, 5:30 to 8:30p.m.

Our Facilities

In addition to our gallery spaces the Vermont Center for Photography boasts a fully equipped traditional black and white darkroom, one of only two publicly accessible darkrooms in the state.
We are currently in the planning stages for on-site digital imaging facilities. Darkroom rental rates are $15 an hour for non-members, $10 an hour for VCP members.

We are located just off of Flat Street in downtown Brattleboro, Vermont. We have a great location with easy parking in the town garage next door - we are down the alley just to the right of the parking garage. Check out our Google Map.
