Ultra- Large Format Camera Workshop

Camera maker Richard Ritter is offering this special workshop on the use of his ultra-large format Camera. The camera is a 7” x 17” panoramic camera, which is currently being raffled off at VCP. For more information about the raffle, visit the VCP website.
In the recent editions of View Camera Magazine, Steve Simmons writes a series of articles featuring the camera and the 7 x 17 project. Learn about this project and the use of this beautifully hand-crafted camera in a fun and informative workshop.

SUPPORT REGIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY GALLERY BY BUYING RAFFLE TICKET
The Vermont Center for Photography is raffling off a Ultra Large Format 7 by 17 inch camera worth $3400 at its Tenth Anniversary Party during Gallery Walk on Friday, April 4 in Brattleboro, Vermont. Tickets are $50 each with only 300 being sold. This uniquely designed camera is made of mahogany and carbon fiber for lightness and portability. The back standard can be moved to either vertical or horizontal position. The film size is 7 x 17 inches. Lens, lens board, and film holder are not included. The very special camera is designed and built by Richard T. Ritter of Townshend, Vermont. Ritter is an expert on large formant camera modification, repair, and restoration. Ritter has donated the camera to the Vermont Center for Photography so all proceeds from the raffle benefit VCP.
